Implementation • Starter 1.0

Up and running in a week, not six months.

Most shops get their first quote into Midrung the same session, their first job released in the first week, and their first shipment billed within two weeks. No consultant retainer, no custom config project.

Setup, step by step

The goal of the first week isn't a perfect ERP model — it's one real job moving through the full lifecycle. Quote, order, job, ship, invoice. Prove the spine works, then build out from there.

Step 1 · Day 1

Org and first user

Create the organization and invite your admin. Takes about 10 minutes — no consultant call required.

Step 2 · Day 1-2

Import customers, parts, vendors

CSV import for the masters you need to make the first quote useful. Templates provided, no mandatory field gymnastics.

Step 3 · Day 1-2

First quote

Build a real quote with routing, material, and price. Most shops get here the first session.

Step 4 · Week 1

First job released

Convert a quote to a sales order, release it to a job, and let the shop floor start reporting against it.

Step 5 · Week 1-2

First shipment

Ship from the job. Bill of lading, packing slip, and inventory movement all attached to the same record.

Step 6 · Week 1-2

First invoice

Generate the invoice from the shipment. Export to QuickBooks or your AR system of record.

We don't do six-month implementations.

If your RFQ requires a six-month implementation, a dedicated consultant retainer, or day-one regulated-defense compliance, Midrung isn't the right fit today. We're built for shops that want the core system running fast so the team can use it, not a year-long rollout project.

Bring one thing to the demo.

A customer list, a part list, or one open quote — that's enough to make the setup conversation concrete instead of hypothetical.
