Midrung + QuickBooks

Manufacturing ERP that works alongside your accounting, not instead of it.

Why not replace QuickBooks?

QuickBooks is excellent at accounting. Your bookkeeper knows it. Your accountant knows it. Your tax preparer knows it. Midrung isn't trying to replace it — we're filling the gap QuickBooks can't: manufacturing-specific quoting, production tracking, scheduling, and quality management.

The two systems complement each other. Midrung handles the shop floor. QuickBooks handles the books.

How they work together

Midrung generates invoices from completed sales orders. These invoices can be exported and entered into QuickBooks for AR tracking, payment application, and financial reporting. Customer and vendor records sync between the two systems.

Midrung → Quoting, job tracking, production, scheduling, quality, inventory, shipping
QuickBooks → Accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, tax reporting
Shared → Customer records, vendor records, invoices, payment status

Integration status

Direct QuickBooks Online integration is on our roadmap. Currently, invoice data can be exported from Midrung in a format compatible with QuickBooks import. We're building a native integration that will sync invoices, payments, and customer/vendor records automatically.

If QuickBooks integration is important to your evaluation, let us know in your early access signup — it helps us prioritize.
